 West and Middle Crooked Lakes are part of the famous Mantrap chain of lakes - the very heart of Northern Minnesota's finest fishing country. Fish to catch in the West and Middle Crooked Lakes include Northern, Walleye, Bass and Panfish. You can fish right off the dock at the resort or venture out to the many inlets on these quiet lakes. Quite often you will find yourself enjoying our lakes tranquil beauty all alone with not another boat in sight.


We offer great hunting...

 Happy Days Resort is located in the Paul Bunyan State Forest, which is good grouse, duck, partridge and especially deer country. Our deer hunters have both great time and great success. We are open all of these seasons and more.
